The Risk Advisory (RA) marketing team leads all marketing activity for Deloitte’s RA business in the UK. We support our business to achieve its growth ambitions through integrated marketing campaigns, client experiences, internal and external communications and brand positioning.

As one of two Assistant Marketing Managers, you will work across the entire breadth of our business. You will be exposed to our most exciting propositions including cyber, digital risk and our fast-growing ESG and sustainability practice. We are looking for proactive, talented marketers to support, own and deliver campaigns and events for Risk Advisory, as prioritised by the Head of Marketing.

Your role
There are four key elements to this role:

RA Marketing programme lead – you will:

  • Be responsible for the Risk Advisory website on Deloitte.co.uk. Ensure it is the best shop window for Risk Advisory. Understand the user journey, page stats and how to adapt content to raise engagement among our target audience.
  • Be our social media champion, lead a programme with social media leaders within Risk Advisory to take ownership of key client facing themes in the minds of our clients.
  • Track client stories to help showcase Risk Advisory client impact across multiple internal and external channels, drive the process to collate, write and share stories of our impact across our key themes.
  • Work with our client teams to lead targeted community programmes for key client audiences (Chief Risk Officer, Heads of Internal Audit) ensure the content supports our positioning, is relevant and engaging for our clients, the right clients are invited and follow up takes place.

Best practice champion – you will:

  • Champion marketing best practice and advise the business on the effective and correct application of the Deloitte brand and tone of voice.
  • Guide RA teams to support self-service, adhering to marketing best practice and to improve quality of independent marketing work.
  • Ensure campaign plans, and activities within them, ‘start with the client’ and are aligned to the principles of insightful, focused, targeted and bespoke.
  • Share campaign best-practice across the team to drive optimal results for specific campaigns based on the strategy and KPIs provided by the team lead.
  • Work with marketing leads from across the firm to identify opportunities for collaboration between teams and to promote Risk Advisory campaigns.

Campaign coordination – you will:

  • Support and lead on the implementation of RA campaigns; drawing on appropriate internal and external resources to develop and deploy content across multiple channels.
  • Apply project planning tools and techniques to ensure effective and efficient delivery of campaigns.
  • Support the team to develop best practice campaign / project plans in alignment with the Risk Advisory strategic marketing plan.
  • Be the RA point person for Deloitte’s campaign management processes, tools and systems including our marketing automation system.
  • Contribute campaign reports, highlight results and identify areas for further improvement.

Team assistant – you will:

  • Manage the Risk Advisory internal channels including KX site and marketing toolkit; make sure that content is added, updated and optimised.
  • Support budget management; the raising of purchase orders, tracking of marketing spend across the team and liaising with our internal accounts team.
  • Coordinate the Risk Advisory marketing calendar so there is a clear overview of all activity and organise regular team meetings in addition to social activity.
  • Respond to and track marketing queries from Risk Advisory. Advise teams on the effective delivery of activity, ensuring commerciality and best practice.
  • Be the point of contact between Risk Advisory and Deloitte’s internal agency 368 including the following teams: digital, creative studio, social media, event management and PR.
  • Work with Internal Communication Managers to ensure Risk Advisory marketing activity is communicated effectively across the firm and within RA.

Location: You will be based at our London office, with an option of working from home two days a week[FN1] 

Work pattern: This is a permanent contract opportunity. The role can be worked on a full-time basis, five days (100% presence) a week. Our team members work a variety of agile working patterns. Tell us what arrangement works for you and we will try to accommodate.

Your professional experience
Essential:

  • Experience of working in professional services or business-to-business organisations
  • Significant knowledge of marketing principles, theory and practice and their application
  • Robust stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders at all levels inc. partner
  • Team player that shows evidence of working with others to get things done, specifically across a matrix structure
  • Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, including presentation skills, that can clearly articulate priorities and expectations
  • Experience in delivering integrated, creative marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Preferred:

  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives; works well under pressure, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Keeps up-to-date with campaign and marketing best practice / the latest market trends
  • Experience in multi-channel marketing across owned, earned and paid including email marketing, website content, and social media
  • Knowledge of Deloitte, our service and product offering, in addition to the wider competitor market positioning
  • Understands the breadth of capability of Deloitte’s wider C&I teams and can bring this to bear to campaigns.

Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints.
