Who we're looking for

We are looking for a Business Development Professional to support Campaign development, qualification and execution. The role is critical to supporting the growth ambition, by ensuring we effectively drive propositions, solutions and our wider focus areas for growth into defined client target areas.

We are looking for someone who has a solid sales background, who is results driven, and who is entrepreneurial in their ability to translate client issues into campaign activities.

You will need to be resourceful, tenacious and have a drive to collaborate widely to promote true campaign success. You will develop a knowledge of key priorities and propositions, whilst understanding the wider backdrop of the firm’s growth strategy. You will have a strong client focus and possess a professional resilience that helps you adapt to the changing aspects of the role and work towards driving external client facing activity. This is an exciting role that requires an ambitious and commercially-minded candidate who can deliver exceptional internal and external client service.

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting the translation of client issues into clear value propositions.

  • Supporting production of campaign collateral and messaging, and defining the flightpath and timeline for campaign delivery.

  • Client targeting and working with the wider relationship management and Industry teams to create access to clients around the campaign value propositions.

  • Understanding the size of the potential market and defining PwC’s space to play and right to win.

  • Supporting the assessment of propositions for campaign readiness.

  • Tracking and presenting on campaign performance to identify areas of success and gaps in client penetration.

  • Articulating the sales message to peers and colleagues across the business to help create campaign momentum and success.

  • Supporting the development of good and best practice by using learning from campaign execution to help shape future campaign execution.

  • Proactively support strong relationships with the business development insight team to ensure campaigns are powered by client and market insight to drive relevance.

Skills and experience required

  • Demonstrated experience in a business development role in complex service-focused organisations. Experience of Professional Services would be preferable albeit not essential.

  • Commercial mindset and experience of generating new business, pipeline and opportunities.

  • Experience of working with Salesforce would be beneficial

  • Experience of developing and managing productive relationships with key decision makers, and influencing peers and colleagues to mobilise behind a product or service to drive pipeline.

  • Evidence of working with other teams in sales & marketing functions on cross-functional projects.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders

  • Business and commercial acumen allowing you to analyse and interpret data.

  • Previous experience of managing / driving sales campaigns with associated project management skills.

This role sits within the Sales capability, part of Sales & Marketing, PwC’s centralised support function, and covers all aspects of professional services marketing, sales support and business development. We work together with the Clients and Markets Executive to build and sustain competitive advantage. We execute our go-to-market strategy using our expertise, talent and assets to drive commercial outcomes, for us and our clients.
