 Overall job purpose

The marketing executive will support the implementation of marketing and PR activities for our transactions team, identify appropriate and attractive prospects for partners and help support the winning of new business. The role also requires the implementation of marketing plans, developing effective communications, events and PR.

Responsibilities

  • The delivery of approved marketing and business development plans, regularly checking progress and ensuring plans are delivered within budget and provide effective ROI
  • Delivering effective deal awareness post-transaction including PR, social media and the creation of marketing collateral
  • Monthly deal reporting to the league tables
  • Delivery of events and campaigns 
  • Delivery of effective internal and external communications material and collateral within brand guidelines
  • Identifying potential new business opportunities and supporting the targeting activity of the senior team
  • Assisting, where necessary, in the preparation of bid and presentation material, ensuring the documents meet brand guidelines and are fit for purpose
  • Support the development of the credentials and marketing collateral bank, feeding content into the Bid Centre for wider use and maintaining this
  • Ensure Dynamics 365 is used effectively to support the team and that reports from the system are accurate, delivering training where necessary
  • Support knowledge sharing by developing content on the transaction’s intranet pages.
  • Support the transaction team’s digital strategy, including the use and promotion of social media among the team
  • Support and deliver on strategic sponsorships and initiatives with third parties, ensuring activities meet objectives and produce an acceptable ROI
  • Work with transactions manager and admin resource to deliver internal conferences
  • Build relationships with RSM’s other service line, sector and communications teams
  • Assist with other marketing and business development projects as required
