 The Senior Business Development Executive – Technology, Media & Telecoms will be responsible for providing support to the Global TMT Industry Group Associate Director in the areas of industry group administration, pitch development, various initiatives, client development support, and event logistics. This role requires the ability to work independently and help to drive Global activities/initiatives, with the oversight of the Global TMT Associate Director.

Responsibilities:
 

Lead key initiatives supporting the Firm’s various business development and marketing initiatives including:

  • Brand profiling – work directly with the Associate Director in developing marketing communications and initiatives profiling industry group                                                                      
  • Website management – ensure industry group pages on the Firm’s internal and external websites are relevant
  • Pitch support – develop compelling responses to bid for current or new work opportunities
  • Editorial support – draft and develop newsletters, client alerts, documents, and reports as needed
  • Assistance in the implementation of the Business Plan – support the Associate Director in working with the Industry Group Steering Committee to implement the Business Plan
  • Meetings – provide support concerning logistical and organizational activities around meetings, including support in the preparation of agendas, client conferences, promotional events, on-site BD activities, etc.
This position will also be required to handle the following administrative functions:
  • Financial reports – assist the Associate Director in preparing periodic overviews and group financial reports
  • Development and maintenance of various internal and external distribution lists
  • Maintenance of various internal and external sites sharing industry knowledge
The successful candidate will also be required to work closely with other specialized function teams to coordinate areas such as the following:
  • Research analysis – conduct research on the business, industry, clients, and competition intelligence regularly and keep the Associate Director informed of recent trends
  • Event logistics – assist the Associate Director in organizing roadshows, client conferences, and client visits; managing post-meeting follow-up to maximize return on investment for these initiatives
  •  Support and track actions for Steering Committee and other related calls and initiatives/activities – work with the Associate Director and the Industry Group Steering Committee to regularly review activities during (monthly) conference calls and face to face meetings, including taking minutes of the actions of Working Group calls, etc.
